You Must WANT The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

This week Ps Rob teaches that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is not an optional extra.

He takes us through a series of scriptures that show we must have the baptism of the Holy Spirit AND also WANT it.

God's intent is for every believer to be filled with the power of the Spirit. He intends for us to do everything in that power. BUT to receive it, you must want it!

If you are a believer and are not yet baptised in the power of the Holy Spirit, cry out to God. Ask Him to make you desperate to be immersed in His power. Ask Him to baptise you in His power. Also, ask a church leader who is baptised in the Holy Spirit to pray with you to receive this power. Don't quit pursuing God until He baptises you.

Listen through to the end of the message to hear the powerful prophetic call from the Lord to be baptised and to immerse yourself in ministry time to receive the baptism (or a fresh infilling) of the Spirit!

Unity of the Spirit - Ephesians 2021-22 Series

This week Ps Rob continues expounding on Ephesians 4v1-6.

Rob reminds us that the Holy Spirit unifies us. The Holy Spirit enables us to fellowship with other genuine Christ-loving believers anywhere in the world. So, Paul urges us to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace (v3). When we do this we will enter into the fulness of oneness in Christ (v4-6).

Apology: There are a few moments in final 4 minutes when the sound cuts out. The microphone battery was going flat.

Ephesians 4:1-6 (NKJV)

1 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Built Up In Faith and the Spirit - Ephesians 2021-22 Series

Ephesians 1:15-17 (NKJV)

15 Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,

AM - Intimacy Is The Key To The Supernatural

In this sermon, Andrew Ward discusses how we can come into a deeper personal relationship with our God, and with such a depth of intimacy, how we can partner with the Holy Spirit in a manifestation of spiritual gifts. He begins with a prophecy about the coming revival and what it will look like.

AM - The Promise of the Father - Pentecost 2020

Today is the birthday of the church. It’s Pentecost Sunday 2020! This week Ps Kaye reminded us that God never intended for us to do the Christian life alone (in our own strength). We are to walk through life doing what Jesus did, and receiving God’s promises, with the help of the Holy Spirit’s presence, guidance and power. This is why God gave us Pentecost.

“The Baptism of the Holy Spirit sets us apart from the world. This is a defining characteristic.”

Key Bible passages: Acts 2; Romans 8:5

drink-of-the-holy-spirit.jpg

Current events around the world align with the signs of the End Times described in the Book of Luke, Chapter 21. Ps Rob shows us from Scripture how to stay refreshed and full of God's life during these difficult times. We are to drink of God’s ‘water’ - His Holy Spirit. We do this by regularly worshipping and praying in the Spirit.

Key Passages

Luke 21:5-28 - Signs of the End Times

Psalms 46 (esp. v4) “There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.” (NKJV)

The Promise of the Holy Spirit
37 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
— John 7:37-38 (NKJV)

Are Maggots Hurting? The Anointing Heals

Psalm 23 - Part 6

Has the lord of the flies, beelzebub, laid maggots in your life? The Anointing of God can heal you and overflow into the lives of those around you.

This week Ps Rob focuses on the second part of Psalm 23 verse 5, "…You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over."

This week’s sermon is one of those special times when the Lord’s presence was unusually strong. The end of the recording captures a time of ministry when the Lord’s presence, peace and comfort were strongly experienced. It will minister to you and heal those maggots in your life as you listen and interact with the Lord.

PM - Pentecostal Family DNA

Pastor Rob preached this sermon at tonight’s Wellington Region, Assemblies of God combined service, held at Hutt City Church. Here are a couple of notes from this rousing sermon:

“Awake: stir, arouse, awaken ourselves. We have a vibrant Holy Spirit inside who stirs us up.”

“We change into different people when the Spirit of God comes upon us. The Holy Spirit is part of our Pentecostal DNA.”

May the Lord fill you with His Spirit as you listen!
