Unity of the Spirit - Ephesians 2021-22 Series

This week Ps Rob continues expounding on Ephesians 4v1-6.

Rob reminds us that the Holy Spirit unifies us. The Holy Spirit enables us to fellowship with other genuine Christ-loving believers anywhere in the world. So, Paul urges us to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace (v3). When we do this we will enter into the fulness of oneness in Christ (v4-6).

A Change of Focus - Ephesians 2021-22 Series

In this message Ps Rob unpacks Ephesians 3v20 to 4v2 in which Paul's changes his focus. After encouraging us that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, Paul urges us to live a life worthy of our calling to represent Christ.

We Exist to Reveal God's Manifold Wisdom - Ephesians 2021-22 Series

“The manifold, many coloured aspects ofJesus”

This week in the Ephesians Series, Ps Rob unpacks Paul’s earnest revelation in Ephesians 3:5-11 that the Church is called to display God’s infinite manifold wisdom.

This is what we are about.

Our purpose - the purpose of the Church - is to reveal that God is infinitely wise! His plan is for us to actively and intentionally reveal His manifold wisdom both in the natural and spiritual realms - through preaching the Gospel, laying hands on people, delivering people, healing people, displaying His power, remaining strong in faith and love despite severe suffering, etc.

Israel Has Not Been Superseded - Ephesians 2021-22 Series

Israel has not been superseded by the Christian Church.

In this week's episode, Ps Rob unpacks Ephesians 3:1-7. We look at why Replacement Theology (aka Supersessionism) is bad for Israel, the Christian Church, and society in general. The truth is that Israel is most definitely still the people of God, and "through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with [emphasis added] Israel". We are grafted in.
