Two Christmas Events This Year

Dates:

• Sun, 22 Dec 2019, 6 - 8pm. Delight yourselves at our Christmas-themed, family-friendly, open evening of fun, entertainment, nibbles, bouncy castle & giveaways. (*)

• Tue, 24 Dec 2019, 6:30 - 8pm. Join us for a night of classic carols and reminiscing on Christmas Eve.

• You can go to both if you like! No need to RSVP for these events. (*)

*Note: At these events you will notice us giving an Aroha Kai Kete (Christmas hamper) to specific families and individuals. This is our way of helping out those who told us in November that they struggle to buy food and gifts at Christmas time. For those interested in receiving a Christmas hamper - unfortunately, there are no more hampers. Please don’t be offended. Registration happened back in November and they have all been allocated.

But please still come and enjoy the two events.

An Extravagant Christmas For You

Since 2005, RISK Church has touched hundreds of lives with ‘Extravagant Christmas’ in various forms.

This year we're inviting you as part of our Stokes Valley community to come and celebrate Christmas with us at RISK Church in an Open Doors Evening on 22 December and at our Classic Christmas Eve Carols event on 24 December. Both are open to all. No RSVP necessary.

At the Open Evening you'll be blessed with great entertainment, amazing giveaways, free nibbles and sausage sizzle (first in first served), and more.

At these events you will notice us giving an Aroha Kai Kete (Christmas hamper) to specific families and individuals.

We are conscious that the struggle to make Christmas great is very real in our Stokes Valley community. So the hampers are our way of helping out those who told us that their budget just isn't stretching to cover the rising cost of food, let alone gifts that we all long to give at this time of year.

For those interested in receiving a Christmas hamper - unfortunately, there are no more hampers. Please don’t be offended. Registration happened back in November and they have all been allocated.

But please still come along to either or both of these events and enjoy the food, fun and great carols.

We love you and want to do everything we can to bless you and connect you with your loving Heavenly Father through Jesus.

Contributing Financially

Any koha that you can give towards this community initiative would be amazing. Your koha will transform Christmas for families.

We are also accepting:

• Brand new children's toys and games (please don’t wrap)

• Vouchers

• Spot prizes for adults and kids

• New Christmas treat food and supplies for hampers (non-perishable only please)
